A true family passion, cultivated in a century of history, the Goretti family has been making wine since the early 1900s. This wine is named after the statue of an orator that was found buried in the vineyard dating back to Roman times. The original resides at the Uffizi in Florence.
Made with 60% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, and 10% Ciliegiolo. Hand harvested late August to mid September. Then undergoes controlled fermentation and maceration in stainless-steel tanks. Aged 14-16 months in barrique and 12-14 months in bottle.
