Husband-wife team (Didier Bertrand and Chantal Delespierre) started this estate, 24 acres in all 1er cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. A grower-producer, or Récoltant-Manipulant or Farmer Fizz), they practice organics in the vineyard and sustainability (HVE certified, Haute Valeur Environnementale). Occasional large oak, malo when it happens. Delicious.
Brilliant pale yellow. Exuberant nose of white flowers, white peaches, pineapple, Japanese nashi pear and citrus fruits. Fresh and crisp in the mouth with a luscious richness in the mid-palate and a nice long finish.
Les Tètes is focused on bringing fresh and fruity competitively-priced wines that are grown organically and fermented with native yeasts and with only minimal sulfur added. In their own words, “Les Tétes is about friendship, and wines you drink with friends.”
